Following an independent visit to the capital city, this escorted tour of Argentina's south will take you to some of the country's most impressive sights, including the wildlife of Peninsula Valdes, the National Parks of Tierra del Fuego and the Glaciers of El Calafate.
   
 
Suggested Intinerary
 
             
  Day 1 - USA / Buenos Aires
Overnight flight to Buenos Aires.
    Day 7 - Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego)
Full day tour of the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you will see the Pipo River, Lapataia Bay, Mt. Susana, Canadon del Toro and Roca Lake. (B,D)
             
  Day 2 - Buenos Aires
Morning arrival and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
    Day 8 - Ushuaia / El Calafate
Morning departure on a flight to Rio Gallegos. Transfer by bus to El Calafate. Rest of the day at leisure. (B,D)
             
  Day 3 - Buenos Aires
Morning city tour of Buenos Aires. Rest of the day free. (B)
    Day 9 - El Calafate (Lago Argentino)
Full day tour to see the impressive Upsala Glacier and Onelli Bay, cruising among hundred of icebergs that have broken off from the glacier. (B,D)
             
  Day 4 - Buenos Aires / Peninsula Valdes
Transfer for your flight to Trelew, near Puerto Madryn. Upon arrival you will visit Punta Tombo Rookery to observe a colony of thousands of Magellan penguins. Continue to Puerto Madryn for overnight. (B,D)
    Day 10 - El Calafate (Lago Argentino)
After breakfast overland tour to the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the world's largest active continental glaciers, decreed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. (B,D)
             
  Day 5 - Peninsula Valdes
After breakfast departure to the Wildlife Reserve of Punta Norte or Caleta Valdes, the habitat of sea elephants. Continue to Puerto Piramide, where you will see a sea lion rookery. Return to Puerto Madryn passing by San Jose Gulf and Birds Island. (B,D)
    Day 11 - El Calafate / Buenos Aires
Morning transfer to Rio Gallegos to board a flight to Buenos Aires. Rest of the day free. (B)
             
  Day 6 - Peninsula Valdes / Ushuaia
Morning transfer to Trelew to board a flight to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. Transfer to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (B,D)
    Day 12 - Buenos Aires / USA
