Joao Fernando – Beautiful beach on the tip of the Buzios peninsula, with rustic open air restaurants and water sports.
Ferradura – Called 'Horse Shoe' beach for the bay's perfect circular shape, close to the center of Buzios village.
Cabo Frio – Lively historic town close to Buzios, with a 16th century fortress, a 17th century chapel, salt reservoirs and long sandy beaches, as well as the secluded bay of Conchas and the Brava'wild' beach.
Rio de Janeiro – The "Marvelous City", is nestled between the sea and the striking mountains, with a magnificent shoreline indented with bays and beautiful beaches. Rio's landmarks include the Sugar Loaf Mountain and Corcovado Mountain, with the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
Petropolis – Imperial city near Rio named after the Portuguese king Pedro II. The summer residence of the court is now the Imperial Museum and other attractions include the Palacio de Cristal.

Known as the "St. Tropez of Brazil", Buzios has an atmosphere of casual sophistication, which attracts many glamorous single people and yet also appeals to families. The lively village center is full of restaurants, bars and boutiques. To get around you can rent a beach-buggy or take a boat taxi to go from beach to beach.

  Day 1 - USA / Rio de Janeiro
Overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro.
    Day 4 - Buzios
Day free to do as you please. An optional schooner cruise around the Buzios peninsula is recommended. You can also rent your own small boat taxi, to travel cheaply from one beach to another, while soaking up the sun. (B)
             
  Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro / Buzios
Arrival transfer from Rio Airport to Buzios. Rest of the day free to relax and explore the surroundings.
    Day 5-7 -Buzios
Days at leisure to enjoy Buzios and surroundings your own way. You can go on an optional tour to Rio de Janeiro or the Petropolis Imperial City. (B)
             
  Day 3 - Buzios
Day at leisure, to relax on the beach and visit the picturesque center of Buzios. The famous 'Rua das Pedras', the cobblestone street for pedestrians only is lined with restaurants, bars, clubs and boutiques. In the evening, this main artery is usually packed with people strolling and socializing. (B)
    Day 8 - Buzios / Rio / USA
Morning free. Afternoon or evening departure for your return flight to USA. (B)
