This expedition into Pantanal, Amazon and Iguassu will get you closer to nature with comfort and safety. Pantanal, the largest area of marshland in the world,is calssified by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve and is inhabited by numerous species of mammals,reptiles, birds andfish. Amazon, the largest rain forest in the world, shelters one third of earth's living species and is the source of one quarter of the world's water supply. Manaus with its beautiful neoclassic Opera House, was the center of the rubber boom in the 19th century. In Iguassu, the world's second largest falls are formed by a mass of water from three rivers joined together at the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. |

Day 1 - USA / Pantanal
Overnight flight via São Paulo to Rio Grande. |

Day 6 - Manaus / Amazon Jungle
Morning free. you can go on an optional cruise to the 'Meeting of the Waters', where the dark Rio Negro merges with the muddy waters of the Rio Solimoes to form the Amazon River. Afternoon departure by boat to your lodge in the jungle. (B,D) |

Day 2 - Pantanal
Upon arrival transfer to your lodge. The rest of the day is free to relax and prepare for your expedition of Pantanal, designated a World Biosphere Reserve and Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. (B,D) |

Day 7 - Amazon Jungle
Amazon is the largest rain forest in the world. Two days of activities including jungle treks, piranha fishing and a visit to an Indian dwelling. In the evenings relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the jungle. (B,L,D) |

Day 3-4 - Pantanal
Pantanal isthe largest area of marshland in the world, with numerous species of mammals, reptiles, birds and fish. Two days of activities escorted by a Naturalist Guide inlcude a boat tour, horse-back ridin, trecking, alligator spoting and a photo safari. (B,L,D) |

Day 8 - Amazon / Iguassu
Morning departure to Manaus. Upon arrival you will stop at the Amazon Opera House, before the transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguassu. Transfer to your hotel by the Falls. (B) |

Departure to Manaus, gateway to the Amazon, where you will arrive late in the evening. (B) |

Morning tour of the majestic Iguassu Falls. Afternoon departure to Sao Paulo, connecting with your return flight to USA. (B) |
