Bairro Recife – Recife's old quarter, where the city was founded in 1548, has colorful old houses, the Anthropology Museum and a baroque church (c.1697).
Olinda – Colonial town on the outskirts of Recife, with baroque architecture, beautiful churches and palaces. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Porto de Galinhas – Fishing village of historic significance, from the colonial period, turned into beach resort area. Vast beaches of white sand and crystal clear waters ideal for snorkeling and diving.
Itamaraca Island - Connected to the mainland by a bridge, this historic island has a 16th century fortress, an ancient church and great beaches.

Along the coast there are many beautiful beaches, including the beach resort area of Porto Galinhas. Recife is also popular for its folklore and festivals.

  Day 1 - USA / Sao Paulo
Overnight flight to Sao Paulo.		     Day 4 - Recife
Day free to do as you please. An optional tour of the nearby Olinda colonial town is recommended. (B)
             
  Day 2 - Sao Paulo / Recife
Connecting flight from Sao Paulo to Recife. Arrival transfer to your hotel in Recife. The rest of the day is free to relax and explore the surroundings. (B)		     Day 5-7 - Recife
Days at leisure to enjoy Recife and surroundings your own way. You can go on an optional tour to the picturesque beach resort area of Porto Galinhas. (B)
             
  Day 3 - Recife
Day at leisure, to relax on the beach and see the center of Recife. (B) 		    Day 8 - Recife / Sao Paulo / USA
Morning free. Afternoon or evening departure for your return flight to USA. (B)
