Explore pristine rain forests combined with a visit to San Jose. On a guided tour of Tortuguero you will cruise the canals in the dense forest, where you can see a variety of birds, monkeys, sloths and crocodiles. A short flight to the south will take you to the heart of a pristine rain forest, where a visit to the Corcovado National Park will include hiking through dense jungle, with waterfalls, as well as a variety of flora and fauna. You can go horse back riding on the beach, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. |

Day 1 - USA / San Jose
Morning flight departure to San Jose.
Transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free. |

Day 6 - Corcovado
Today you will tour the Carbonera River and waterfalls. Immerse yourself in the jungle experience with a walk in primary rain forest. You will see a 90 foot waterfall and river, cascading among the lush vegetation and enjoy a picnic lunch in the jungle. (B,L,D) |

Day 2 - San Jose
Today you can go on an optional city tour of San Jose, including visits to La Sabana Metropolitan Museum, the National Theater and the National Museum, where you will see fine examples of pre-Columbian art. (B) |

Day 7 - Corcovado
Enjoy a different perspective as you take a horse back guided tour along the beach and into the jungle or, if you prefer to stay on the ground, you can hike along the Osa Trail, passing through prime rain forest, with every step of the way revealing some new secret of the jungle around you. Day 3 - San Jose / Tortuguero
This morning travelling east towards the Caribbean Coast, you will visit Braulio Carrillo National Park and will see a variety of landscapes including cloud forest, dense jungle, rivers and waterfalls. On the coast you will board a boat, which will take you through the Tortuguero canals to the Lodge. (L,D) |

Day 8 - Corcovado / San Jose
Morning departure for your flight to San Jose. The rest of the day is free to have fun in the capital or take an optional excursion to the nearby village of Sarchi, where you can watch. (B)

Day 4 - Tortuguero
Your morning boat tour will take you through one of the most biologically diverse areas in the country. The National Park of Tortuguero is a nesting site for the green turtle and you will have the opportunity to see monkeys and other mammals, as well as an immense variety of birds. Morning free. Early afternoon departure for your return flight to USA. (B) |

Day 5 - Tortuguero / Corcovado
Morning departure for your flight via San Jose to Golfito. Transfer to Puerto Jimenez near the Corcovado National Park. In the afternoon you will go on a guided tour of the jungle, where you will see an immense diversity of vegetation, as well as many birds and butterflies. (B,L,D) |
