Pico - Named after its 2351m high volcanic cone. An island with great traditions in wine making and whaling. Houses built from blocks of lava give Pico a distinctive character.
Santa Maria - A port of call for Columbus first voyage to America, with sandy beaches and picturesque villages.
São Jorge - Tranquil setting with great panoramic views of green fields.
São Miguel - The largest island, has great unspoiled scenery including the contrasting Sete Cidades green and blue lakes side by side, Lagoa do Fogo lake and Vale das Furnas spa with the famous bubbling hot springs. In Ponta Delgada, the charming capital, the attractions include the 18th century portals, the Museum and ancient churches.
Terceira - The historic center of its capital, Angra do Heroismo, has been classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The most notable monuments are the 16th-17th century fortresses, the Baroque palaces, the Cathedral, ancient churches and museum
Corvo - Peaceful and unspoiled, with clear lakes at the bottom of deep craters.
Faial - Surrounding the popular yacht harbor, lies Horta, a picturesque town with white washed houses, churches and museums housing fine works of art. The Horta marina is also the main point of departure for big-game fishing boats.
Flores - Lush vegetation, with lake and water falls.
Graciosa - Attractive landscape with vineyards on terraces built from volcanic lava, windmills on hilltops, caves and underground lake.

  Day 1 - USA / Azores
Overnight flight to Sao Miguel island.
    Day 5 - Sao Miguel
Today you can take an optional tour to Lagoa do Fogo and Furnas Spa, to observe the bubbling hot springs and enjoy the traditional "cozido" stew lunch cooked underground in the volcanic rocks.
             
  Day 2 - Sao Miguel
Early morning arrival. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and explore the surroundings.
    Day 6 - Sao Miguel
Day free to do as you please. You can relax in Ponta Delgada, perhaps play a round of golf or go on an optional tour to another island.
             
  Day 3 - Sao Miguel
Today you can visit the main attractions of Ponta Delgada, the island's capital, including the 18th century portals and all other monuments from that era, including the museum, churches and palaces.
    Day 7 - Sao Miguel / USA
Morning departure for your return flight home.
             
  Day 4 - Sao Miguel
An optional morning tour to Sete Cidades lakes is recommended. The two contrasting lakes side by side, one green and one blue, as well as their pristine surroundings, are a delight for nature lovers.
