Montserrat – Ancient Monastery and pilgrimage site, perched on top of the 4,320 ft high mountain. Romanesque buildings include the Royal Basilica, with the 12th century Black Madonna Statue.
Sitges – Picturesque town with a long sandy beach and Cau Ferrat Museum, housing ceramic art and paintings by El Greco.
Tarragona – Historic town on the coast, about 60 miles from Barcelona.
Attractions include the Roman monuments, the Archaeological Museum and the Cathedral.
Vich – Typical Catalonian town with Christian religious sites, including the Cathedral and the Episcopal Museum.
Gerona – Situated close to the French border, this historic city has a picturesque old quarter with a Gothic Cathedral, Roman baths and a Jewish Quarter.

There are many museums and art galleries to visit, including the famous Picasso Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. Barcelona is also famous for its Catalonian cuisine and lively nightlife.

    Day 5 - Barcelona
This morning you can go on an optional tour of Montserrat, to visit the ancient Monastery and the 12th century Black Madonna statue. Afternoon at leisure.
             
  Day 2 - Barcelona
Early morning arrival. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and explore the surroundings.
    Day 6 - Barcelona
Today, you can go on an optional full day tour of Costa Brava, to admire the scenic beauty of the Mediterranean coast, cruise through the Medes Islands and visit historic sites, including the medieval town of Palls.
             
  Day 3 - Barcelona
This morning an optional city tour of Barcelona is recommended. You will see the city's focal points, including a walk through the Gothic Quarter, where you will visit the 14th century Cathedral, then see the Olympic Arena and visit the Pueblo Espanyol village. Afternoon free.
    Day 7 - Barcelona
Day at leisure in Barcelona. You can go shopping in fine boutiques, stroll through the gothic quarter and join in the fun at the esplanades and 'tapas' bars.
             
  Day 4 - Barcelona
Morning free. In the afternoon, an optional classical tour of Barcelona is recommended, including visits to the Guel Park, La Sagrada Familia Cathedral and Picasso Museum.
