The island of Gran Canaria is the second largest of the Canary Islands archipelago and has some of the best beaches. The interior of the Island has great scenic beauty, with mountainous and green landscape, as well as picturesque villages.
Las Palmas, the island’s capital situated in the north, is a lively town with an attractive harbor, historic monuments, good entertainment and shopping facilities.
In the south, the beach resort area of Maspalomas, has magnificent sandy beaches and extensive sand dunes, while nearby Playa del Ingles is famous for its lively beach atmosphere and great nightlife. |

Day 5 - Gran Canaria
Day free to relax on the beach, enjoy water sports and perhaps catch-up on your reading. You can also go on an optional tour to the Islands of Tenerife or Lanzarote. |

Day 2 - Madrid / Gran Canaria
Early morning arrival in Madrid, with a connecting flight to Gran Canaria. Transfer to your hotel and the rest of the day is free rest and explore the surroundings. |

Day 6 - Gran Canaria
Day to do as you please, perhaps go on another optional sightseeing tour or enjoy a round of golf. There is a wide variety of fun local tours to choose from, including a Submarine Dive and a Camel Safari. In the evening, an optional ‘Cave Party’ with folklore show is recommended. |

Day 3 - Gran Canaria
Day of relaxation to soak up the sun on the beach and enjoy a swim, or go trekking on the sand dunes. Good day visit the resort towns and other beaches. In the evening you can join in the fun at Playa del Ingles or San Agustin |

Day 7 - Gran Canaria
Your last day in Gran Canaria, perhaps will be better spent on the beach at Maspalomas, backed by the impressive sand dunes. In the afternoon, you may want to do some last minute shopping in San Agustin and enjoy a drink at Playa del Ingles. |

Day 4 - Gran Canaria
Today an optional full day tour of Gran Canaria is recommended. Traveling though beautiful countyside, you will visit the picturesque town of Arucas and its magnificent gothic Cathedral. Also see the many attractions of Las Palmas, including the Casa de Colon (Columbus’ house) and the Canarian Museum. |

Day 8 - Gran Canaria / USA
Early morning transfer for your flight to Madrid, connecting with your return flight to USA. |
