Palma – The island's capital, has a lively atmosphere, wide avenues and promenades along the harbor. Historic sites include the Cathedral, La Almudaina Palace and Bellver Castle.
Pollenca – Old town with Calvary steps leading to 18th century Hermitage, with panoramic views of Puerto Pollensa fishing port and Formentor peninsula.
Valldemossa – Picturesque old town in a tranquil valley, with a Gothic Church and the Cartuja Monastery.
Alcudia – Walled town in a peninsula between Pollensa bay and Alcudia Bay. Close to Albufera Nature Reserve, as well as the Arta caves and castle.
Drach Caves – Situated near Porto Cristo, these impressive caves are visited along paths and bridges, which cross a lake of crystalline water. In a vast hollow under the ocean there is the 'Amphitheater' where concerts are held. |
