Spain's scenic and unspoiled northern region has many attractions for the visitors. In Madrid you can see the Royal Palace and Prado Museum, then visit the historic town of Segovia on the way to Salamanca.
Travelling north you will visit Leon and then to Santiago de Compostela, the legendary city of St. James where you will be able to see the majestic Cathedral and the Shrine.
Driving along the beautiful northern coast you will stay at the medieval village of Santillana del Mar and you should visit the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao on your way to San Sebastian, in the heart of the Basque province. |
